A power supply designed for always-on workloads, from the PCB up.

Most NAS builds run on ATX power supplies designed for desktop workloads — loud fans, over-specced for the actual draw, and optimized for burst performance rather than 24/7 efficiency.
We're designing a DC power supply from the PCB up, purpose-built for NAS and home server use: lower idle noise, tighter voltage regulation under sustained load, and a form factor that fits compact enclosures.
The design targets common NAS configurations — 4 to 8 drives, a low-power SoC, and a few USB peripherals. PCB design is done in KiCad. First prototype batch is in progress.
